KIV-19 Remote Manager - SNMPv3 Upgrade

TELEGRID's family of KIV Remote SNMP Proxies (KRSPs) allows remote monitoring and control of KIV encryption devices like KIV-19s and KIV-7s, over IP networks.  TELEGRID has now upgraded the KRSP to SNMPv3 thereby enhancing security and aligning networking protocols with DoD directives.

Remote network management allows commands to improve productivity, cut costs, reduce downtime and increase network reliability.  Therefore it is not surprising that network management has become a DoD-wide requirement.  While most modern networking equipment already provides this functionality, many legacy and even some new encryptors, like the KIV-19M, do not.  TELEGRID's KRSP solves this problem thus allowing KIV devices to be part of an overall Network Management System (NMS).

TELEGRID Partners with Professional Telecom Solutions

TELEGRID is pleased to announce that it has signed a European distribution agreement with Professional Telecom Solutions (ProTel), a United Kingdom based company, to market and distribute WZRDnet low-power wireless ad-hoc mesh network products throughout Europe.  ProTel will utilize its website, www.taccots.com, which is focused on Tactical COTS (Commercial off the shelf) and MOTS (Modified off the shelf) communications products directed at Government Agencies and the Defense Sector.  ProTel will be demonstrating the WZRDnet for the first time in Europe at the Counter Terror Expo on April 25-26 in London, UK.  We are happy to welcome ProTel to the TELEGRID family.

The WZRDnet low-power wireless ad-hoc mesh network provides voice/ data communications with limited or no infrastructure (i.e. no cell towers or satellites required).  In WZRDnet each mesh handset acts a router, relaying messages from originator to destination. WZRDnet’s low-power design provides 38 hours of battery life between charges.  WZRDnet is an ideal solution for rapid response and limited scope engagements.

TELEGRID invites you to Booth 1702 at AFCEA West 2012 on January 24-26 at the San Diego Convention Center, CA.  TELEGRID engineers will be on site to discuss the SNMPv3 upgrade to our KIV Remote Manager and our legacy COMSEC interface equipment including VINSON/ ANDVT buffers.  TELEGRID will also be demonstrating its WZRDnet low-power wireless ad-hoc mesh network which underwent a successful test by the US Navy aboard the USS Peleliu.
